designed to improve the quality of life for Aboriginal
people in the City of Saskatoon. |

provide a reception centre for migrating Aboriginal
people coming to the City of Saskatoon

provide an information and referral service for
Aboriginal people residing in the city

provide a place where cultural activities and identification
can be carried on and maintained

provide a meeting place where the Aboriginal and
non-Aboriginal community can come together, to mutually
support each other and exchange ideas and values

act as a catalyst for identifying Aboriginal concerns
and needs

The
Saskatoon Indian and Métis Friendship Centre (SIMFC)
is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in
1968. The main vision of the SIMFC is to improve the
quality of life of Aboriginal people in Saskatoon. Since
it's inception, the centre has developed and delivered
numerous social, recreational, cultural and educational
programs. |

gym has a seating capacity of 350 people and is available
for indoor sports activities, conferences, workshops
and social gatherings (dry socials only). |

lounge contains tables and chairs, a big screen TV,
pool table and free coffee |

Our
lounge area contains a bulletin board with information
about a variety of upcoming community events. |
